Larimar, a stone named for Lara, the daughter of its discoverer, and for its color of the sea, is only found on one hillside in the Dominican Republic. Sadly, this beautiful stone is running out. I've amassed a collection, fearing I wouldn't get more like it. I've set these lovely stones into a silver twist of wire.
