Larimar, dancing colors of waves on the sea, was discovered only recently. Found on one hillside in the southern Dominican Republic, it occurs nowhere else. It's finder named the stone after his daughter Lara, and the sea - mar. I bought this stone from a miner and stone seller, who carved the prettiest part of the nugget he found. It's a hard life working the mines, many of which are now closed as the stone has run out. I set this stone in Sterling silver, size 8.5. I can size the ring to fit you.
